In Girl Genius: The Works, each card is a cog in a giant machine made up of a twelve-card tableau. On their turn, players flip, spin, and “pop” cards, which interact in different ways. Depending on the situation, cards can pop individually or in chains, giving you extra points, more cards, or something else entirely! The first player to 70 points wins!
Four different 60-card decks, each representing a major arc of the Girl Genius story, are currently available, though you need only one deck to play. Each card features unique, never-before-seen illustrations by Studio Foglio, the creative machine behind the steampunk webcomic Girl Genius. The Castle Wulfenbach deck has two large groups of unique cards, Jägermonsters and Dingbots, that add to game play.
