We may not have had Spirit Island to demo at our booth at Gen Con 2024, but that doesn’t mean that the convention went without some amazing Spirit Island events. This year, we had not two but three Spirit Island Mega events!
What is a Mega event? A Spirit Island Mega event is where many players come together to play as an archipelago of islands to drive away the invaders and come out on top. There’s 8 different boxes of Spirit Island on 8 different tables, but only one invader board that’s shared among everyone. It’s an intense experience that requires lots of coordination and smart play. We even had an expert level this year and that made it all the more satisfying. Yes, that’s right, all three events were victories! We want to thank each and every one of our players for making that possible and making the event as nail-biting and fun as we hoped it would be.
And let’s not forget about our recent release! We have Spirit Island: Nature Incarnate available now across the world! The fulfillment for the BackerKit has been complete for some time and we’re glad to announce that it should be available in any friendly local game store. Curious about Incarna?
