Exclusive BackerKit Updates

We hope you’ve been enjoying the introductions to the characters and mechanics of Defenders of the Realm: Legends Edition. 

If you’ve been reading our updates so far, you’re familiar with the base game, heroes, and villains that make Defenders what it is. But there’s more information to be had on the Defenders of the Realm BackerKit!

Stretch Goals and Exclusive Updates

The Defenders of the Realm BackerKit stretch goals include new heroes and new bosses! While most of the new heroes and all of the new bosses will be shown here on the Greater Than Games blog, one hero—and all the expansion minions—are exclusive to BackerKit Updates.

New Heroes

There's plenty of unlockable heroes, starting with the adorable druid Knales! Take a look at this sneak peek at her character card:

You might notice Knales’ card is different than every other hero we’ve introduced so far. She boasts two forms, each with unique mechanics that aren’t matched by any other hero in the game—but if you want to know more, you’ll have to go to the BackerKit to find out! Other unlockable heroes will be updated on the blog, but Knales is exclusive to the crowdfunding page! 

New Minions & More!

In addition to the new heroes, each of the four expansions comes with its own set of minions. If you want to see the introductions to Knales and the Minions make sure to sign up for updates at the Defenders of the Realms: Legends Edition BackerKit page! We’ll be adding new information daily until launch day on November 19th and with every unlocked tier after that!
