Hello again, everyone! Today we’re going to get to know our Billing & Client Account Manager: Twuana Price! Twuana has been with Greater Than Games for about three years, and she keeps all the money going where it needs to go. Processing accounts payable, office administration, sales processing — everything and anything that has to do with accounting and financial administration. Twuana doesn’t directly work on any of our games, but without her, there wouldn’t be a Greater Than Games! No bills would be paid, no distributors would be able to receive or send our products, and no accounts would be collected, meaning none of us would get paid, either! That would be bad. Anyway, let’s get to know one of our most vital employees.

What’s one of your favorite things about working in your department?

TP: I love keeping things organized. Staying on top of making sure the sales numbers and accounts are balanced is one of my favorite parts of the job. You need to be able to keep things neat and together or you’ll end up with all kinds of madness. It’s really rewarding to do something I like to do for a great group of people like what we have here.

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day?

TP: I love spending time with my family and friends. It’s fun getting to be the auntie to my little cousins because little kids always know how to have the most fun. Otherwise, I like to come home and wind down and sleep. A good rest makes everything better, no matter how stressful your day might have been.

What’s your favorite recipe or meal? Do you have it often enough?

TP: I make the BEST – and when I say the best, I mean it – mac and cheese. Baked mac and cheese, the real kind of stuff. I put a lot of love in it. [Twuana would not share the recipe despite several attempts at begging.]

What’s one thing you wish people knew or understood about working in your department?

TP: I do wish that sometimes I was more involved in any of the game design part or involved in general. I understand why it doesn’t happen a whole lot, though. We’ve all got different projects and I do stay busy throughout the day. Sometimes accounting can be kind of lonely when you’re processing invoices or sales reports all day. I think that’s why I enjoy spending so much time with friends and family.

Would you rather vacation in Hawaii or Alaska? What’s the best place for a vacation?

TP: Hawaii. The best place is always on the beach overlooking the water with a cocktail in my hand and the breeze cooling me off from the warm sun. Any place that has tropical vibes and makes me feel like I’m there to relax, so it doesn’t just have to be Hawaii.

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?

TP: The 90s! The music was better, I loved the fashion. I still have a lot of leftover pieces and I’m glad that some of it is making a comeback. Of course, the times seemed simpler but that’s when I was a kid.

What’s something you always wanted to learn?

TP: I’ve always wanted to learn a different language. I lean a little bit more towards sign language, but it doesn’t really matter which one. It’s all about time and finding someone to practice with, though. If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it.

What was the best gift you’ve ever received?

TP: From my close friend: it was a Cricket machine. I can make so many things now! I’m really into crafts and creating. I’m the go-to for party planning and event organizing – shocking, I know. That Cricket helps me a lot now!

Thanks so much, Twuana! It was great getting to know someone that doesn’t get a whole lot of credits on game boxes. Be sure to check out last month’s article with Katie!
