The Survival Guide to Mobile Defense Platform

Mobile Defense Platform

This is the Baron Blades plotting fortress. Home to blade battalions, and equipment.

Here's some pointers to help with storming this place.

  • Types of Cards: Rooms - Levels, minions, structures
  • Number of target cards: 10 -
  • Special Mention: Propulsion System - Has ten HP if it reaches 0 game over
  • Routine Observation:This Environment is one of the easier ones. It has ten targets, but three of them reduce damge dealt to environment targets, one you don't want to destroy, and the others do minor damage. The three level cards add some to the damage, but not a lot. In my experience the targets add up quick, but there's usually nothing critical to worth hitting it with damage.
  • Dificulty rank - 1 (According to the wiki)

 Villains with this environment

  • Akash Bhuta is fond of targets, she'd feed off this environment well.
  • Baron Blade works well thematically with this environment.
  • Grand Warlord Voss - The minions count for his damage reduction which can make for a difficult fight if things pile up and count toward win condtitions.

Heros with this environment

  • The Naturalist: Is fond of environment targets for his card that does DR based on # of environment targets.

Anything I should add? Tips thoughts? Suggestions? Anything you suggest will added. Thanks for the help!

It says Freedom Tower at the beginning.

This deck had cards with the minion keyword and count for DR and win conditions for Grand Warlord Voss.

Thanks, I thought sure I fixed that earlier but my computer rejected my request. XD And now it's updated.

theres a lockout with this environment that makes it stop doing what little it did. If the last level through the deck returns targets to the bottom and one of the mechanics is in play, you can kill the mechanic over and over with area damage and the environment will just keep playing him.

A single mega computer completely nerfs the environment into irrelevance.

The return targets to the bottom of the deck card can be exploited against Blade, Dawn, Chairman, Capitan, Matriarch (basically the same list as with Freedom Tower, it's a bit less powerful against Blade)

Personally, I find this environment to be basically a no-show in most games.

Yeah, we often end up just able to ignore this as long as someone can soak the plinks off the Minions (if/when they come out). Otherwise generally you end up with all the shields out so don't really have to worry about hitting the propulsion systems if they come out as well. Makes it a change from those environments that just stack up to kill you or mess you up in a variety of nasty ways ;).

It's no accident that this and Freedom Tower, the two easiest environments in the game, were released with the Vengeance expansion.  When you're dealing with an entire team on opposing villains, it can be nice to not worry about the environment, too.

(Essentially avoiding the problem with Rook City, where both the villains *and* the environments were super-punishing.)
