Well since we are allowed to bribe and threaten it only makes sense for Team Venture to welcome the Chairman

NOOO!!!! That was my pick!  Curse you and your Operative stealing ways!

I never should have given you the power.

Nielzabub is up now.  Like it matters anymore.

I'll take the Sentinels since we're choosing decks and not characters. Main stay can help cover for people, Idealist's telekinesis can throw multiple balls at once, and Writhe is nearly impossible to hit. Dr. Medico is not as useful in this sport as he would be in some other ones, but since he can do damage on some of his cards, I'm assuming he could use his energy manipulation to incinerate balls coming at him or some other teammates.

I fixed the formula, selecting your name by the character should now correctly put them under your team. No need to write them also, hopefully.

Also, should this be in the Sentinels forum?

Aw, man, another good one taken.

For my Second pick I'll choose the only character that can easily take over matches (even after they are over) and work flawlessly with my first pick:

Omnitron-X

For the first pick of the third round, since the Wrath of the Cosmos Decks aren't selectable I'll take Kismet.

Back to Nielzabub.

Be warned, with Omnitron-X's empathy, he might let the other team win.

Someone picked Legacy. Great pick! Even if he is out, he makes a great cheerleader.

I'll go ahead and take Nightmist. Her ability to redirect balls being thrown at her and other magic will come in very handy. Since I didn't declare, I'll go ahead and retroactively claim Team Leader Tachyon if that's okay.

I was going to ask about specific promo version afterwards, but now is ok too.

If I drop the ball on the floor, is Akash'Bhuta out, or has she caught the ball?

You get the character card too. Once the drafting ends, state what version you are using if there are promos.

Yeah. I can see it just fine... but can't actually select any cells. Tried my phone, my computer, my iPad.

On the bus now, but I'll check it more thoroughly when I get home.

In the meantime I selected it for you, and fixed a formula in the "YOUR TURN!" cell above Foote, who's turn it now is!

(I changed J7 to J6. But I don't understand what the AND statement is doing, as it never seems to reference more than one thing)

I actually can't access the spreadsheet while I'm at work which is during the hours most of the forumites are active.

Ah, my mistake. Originally I also had it check to make sure there were less than five names so it wouldn't keep going forever. After figuring out a formula for the end teams, and limiting them to a certain number, I realized I didn't need the less than five limitation, so I took them out. However, I forgot about the and function.

Yeah. This spreadsheet thing isn't going to work for me. Given my work wifi restrictions, I have to access the forums almost exclusively from my phone.

As it you can't access it at all to see what decks have been chosen and need a seperate list or that you can't use the dropdown menus?

It's just a big enough pain that I have no interest in making the effort. I'll gladly give up my spot to someone who will.

I only made it to make things easier, didn't seem to work out like that though. You can just post it here, and someone will update the spreadsheet.

I'm sure it's easier for most people. Don't let an outlier get you down. :-)

It's hardly going to matter if you can or cannot access the spreadsheet in a few posts time anyway, that's just a list of the teams, it's not going to be needed for the actual game/descriptions.

Le sigh. I thought we were picking decks, not characters.

The Matriarch, then. Why not swarm the field? It'll be impossible for anyone to aim at me through that.

Iron Legacy joins The Fighting Mongooses, with Legacy already on the team I expect the Highest of Fives when we win.

Also, to ensure we have filled in all the proper permits to play this game (and check that the other team has not broken any of the by-laws) Miss Information will be joining in the (strictly organised) fun.

Over to you Meerkat.

Depnds what you are referring to. You can use anything in your deck, even if that includes extra minions, guns, bombs, birds, etc. Making a bunch a rules limiting that would take away some of the fun and creativity. There also aren't rules about the strict use of tbose items based on SotM mechanics, but rather your own creativity. For example, you can have Fanatic avoid being out by destroying Aegis. The community will on what version they lile the best.

Now, if you are referring to rules like you get hit you're out, and if you catch a ball, the thrower is out and someone on your team comes in, then yes, those follow the normal rules.
